I recently had an amazing experience at Monas Chicago with Mannat, who did a fantastic job on my brow tint and a tiny tattoo of an Arabic symbol meaning “woman warrior.” Mannat was incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I was looking to get my lips lighter and wanted to try out lip blushing and I noticed Mona’s page and decided to reach out and she responded quickly. She message me and asked for a photo to see my lips and recommended lip neutralization, she made me an appointment and when I arrived she was very nice, also great convenient parking. My appointment went great it wasn’t painful and a little swelling but disappeared in a day and I also came back for 2nd appointment and which I didn’t need as much on my lips due to them getting lighter and after I received my last appointment I had great results and I do recommend Mona, such a great and warm spirit!!!!!!

I am very particular about my eyebrows and their shape, and doing my eyebrows by far takes up the most time when I am getting ready. I had been looking for quite some time for a professional in whom I could trust to give me what I was looking for in regards to shape, proper color, semi- longevity (nothing absolutely permanent) , and a safe technique. Mona delivered all of these very important details, and then some when I recieved the Ombre powder brows treatments from her! She was so thorough in the actual procedure, pre-care, post-care, what to expect in the actual treatment and in-between, and did not fabricate any expectations and results. I knew what to expect in between the two required treatments and didn’t have any surprises pop up. I am in absolute love with the shape and color, I honestly could not have asked for anything more! Mona is always available for any questions, concerns or if there is something I want fixed for my eyebrows, there is no hesitation from her. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. I will be going to Mona for as long as I reside in Chicago, and would absolutely recommend her to take care of your eyebrows. She’s amazing.

If you are looking to get your eyebrows done, go to Mona! I can’t recommend her enough. She is super communicative, was clearly more than happy to answer my questions and explain the process during my appointments, and cared about my input and opinion throughout. She is super skilled and has an excellent artistic eye for achieving your desired result. Mona is also very open, warm, and easy to chat with, so the whole process was a really positive one. I must admit I didn’t think as a 51 year old man that I would ever get my eyebrows done. I had thought about it for a while and since I was “missing” about 1/3 of my brow on one side and both needed to be fuller.It’s been a day since I had them done and am SHOCKED AT HOW UNBELIEVABLE GREAT THEY LOOK! I was always self conscious about them. The service and professionalism that I received was OUTSTANDING!!!The discomfort during the secession is minimal and so far recovery is going well.Updated I have had appointments canceled twice I will not be returning

Awesome experience with Mona from the moment I first contacted her to finish! She is very professional, knowledgeable and demonstrates great attention to detail. She has a great personality, very patient and kind. I immediately knew I could trust her. She worked with me during the eyebrow mapping process and was concerned about my pain level at all times. To me it was a painless procedure. My eyebrows are looking great and healing wonderfully. She also provided me with useful information and items for aftercare. I am looking forward to my touch up appointment to perfect my brows and that is also included with my one time payment. You will not find highly professional services at this price elsewhere. Future touch ups are very affordable, not to mention that she has a referral program with credits toward future touch ups, can’t beat that! Last but not least, I absolutely love her suite, it is very stylish, clean and cozy. I highly recommend her!

I had previously gotten my brows done somewhere else and they faded almost completely away in less than 6 months. Mona fixed them perfectly! I’ve had them for a few months now, and had my touch up done and they look so good. I don’t have to do anything to them and I’m ready to walk out the door. The first place I went, the procedure was reeeeeally painful. Not the case here! Mona was so gentle and made this a relaxing experience. I’m so pleased. Well worth every penny.

Mona is an independent operator out of a salon suite out of Salons by JC on Broadway in Lakeview. She’s very friendly and easy to talk to which is nice when you have an appointment that’s a few hours. She went into detail on the different types of services that may be appropriate for different skin types, and was happy to answer any questions or concerns I had before and in between appointments. It was my first time doing any type of permanent makeup service and I thought that she was very gentle and light of hand; the service didn’t hurt as much as I would have anticipated. I thought my brows ultimately turned out great and very natural looking.

I got my eyebrows shaded 2 days ago after penciling them in since I was 18 and it was a simple process. Mona made me feel comfortable from the beginning to the end of the process and was very throughout on how to take care of them. I had a lip blush with Mona. I was a little nervous but also very excited. She explained each step to me and was gentle and took her time. Lots of numbing cream really helped and I was comfortable the whole time. She checked in with me during the days that followed to see how I was doing and healing.They are healing great and the true color will reveal itself in a few more weeks. I can’t say this enough – Mona is the absolute BEST!! When it comes to any cosmetic treatments, I am extremely picky (I tried 13 nail salons before picking a place, just to give an example how picky I am).I came to Mona for lip blushing and was super nervous about the procedure and how it would look afterwards. In the coming weeks before the appt, I text questions Mona multiple times a week. Not only did she respond in great detail, but she made sure I was super comfortable with the process and colors I wanted. During the procedure, Mona was very attentive in assuring I got the shape and color I wanted, and asked multiple times throughout the procedure if I was comfortable.Mona was an absolute delight to work with and her work is detailed – I got EXACTLY what I wanted!!! Can’t recommend her enough!

I got my eyebrows done by Mona, she eased my nerves and explained everything so well prior to starting that I was not worried or nervous the entire time, and the eyebrows turned out exactly as I had wanted + saving time from having to fill them in daily is a god send!She explains the healing process and sends you home with a kit to help and a what to expect for the next few days from your eyebrows as they will keep changing. The studio itself is also very covid safe so I didn’t have to worry about anything there either.

I will never go to anyone but Mona.She is patient, skilled, and really takes the time to understand what you want. She’s the real deal! I’m so glad my friend referred me to her. I was hesitant about getting my eyebrows micro-bladed but they turned out AMAZING! The process was a little uncomfortable but it didn’t hurt and the redness was gone within a day. I got the powder brows and now i don’t spend 20 mins in the morning trying to get my brows perfect.

BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!I have been a client of Mona’s Brow Bar for about 4 months now. Initially I went in for the microblading service, but after my first touch up, we decided the ombre microshading service was best for me. I have never loved my brows so much! As someone who has whispy and very light colored eyebrows, I have always struggled to maintain them. Mona has made my brows darker and they appear fuller and more even. It has saved SO much time on my makeup routine. The cost is definitely worth the saved time and frustration.She is very professional and knowledgeable about what she does. This was my first experience with permanent cosmetics, and the entire experience was exceptional. Mona is great at walking you through all the steps of her process and making you feel comfortable about making a decision on what you want. I went with micro shading because I like to have a more natural look and I fill my brows in daily, the goal for me is to not have to fill them in everyday and she nailed it! She was super helpful in explaining the different styles she can do. Her studio is clean and she is taking all the necessary COVID precautions, I felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend!
